Romy Eckert, PR Director

Romy is a specialist for integrated communication. Together with Constance Wendrich, Romy set up WE COMMUNICATE. Berlin in January 2014. The communication network of professional PR consultants holds various accounts.

As a network partner of the international PR agency ICF Mostra in Brussels, WE Communicate is responsible of the national implementation of pan-European PR campaigns of various Directorate-Generals of the European Union. Additionally, WE Communicate manages various Start-Up accounts in Berlin such as paprcuts and WunderAgent. In 2014, WE Communicate was in charge of PR of the FIAT 500 LIFESTYLE TOUR 2014 aperitivos for the Fiat Group Automobiles Germany AG, as a strategic partner of alphaomega.

Furthermore Romy manages the office of the tourism PR agency welllcom, where she holds the PR accounts of the InterContinental Davos, the new Turkish 5-star + hotel brand MAXX ROYAL, the premium destination Costa Navarino and The Marmara Hotels.
For the American property developer vivre invest and financial advisors milkereit & CO, she conceptualizes and manages with REI Connect the marketing activities promoting real estate and banking relations in the USA.

In 2008 Romy started her career at Media Consulta, where she led various national and international PR-accounts for a variety of clients such the Directorate-Generals of Enlargement and Communication of the European Commission, Bausch&Lomb and Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. She also worked as the account director of the integrated communication campaigns “Youth on the Move” with DG Education and Culture (EAC) as well as the ”European Year of Volunteering 2011” with DG Communication of the European Commission, at the international events and media company ICWE. Romy holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Kent in Brussels and speaks German and English.
